Lissy is a prominent Indian actress who left an indelible mark on South Indian cinema, particularly during the golden era of Malayalam commercial film in the 1980s and early 1990s. Born on February 3, 1967, in Ernakulam, Kerala, she entered the film industry at the young age of 15, debuting in the 1982 film Ithiri Neram Othiri Karyam. Known for her exceptional charm and impeccable comic timing, she quickly became a staple of commercial cinema, acting in over 100 films across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Her career is celebrated for her frequent collaborations with legendary director Priyadarshan and superstar Mohanlal in landmark comedies and dramas like Boeing Boeing, Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu, Thalavattam, and Chithram, as well as her appearance in the iconic investigative thriller Oru CBI Diary Kurippu.
