Christos Efthimiou

Christos Efthymiou (Greek: Χρήστος Ευθυμίου, Lamia, 3 August 1900 - 4 May 1971) was a Greek comedian actor of theatre and cinema. He was a graduate of the Athens Law School and in 1929 he studied at the professional theatre school, from which he graduated with honors after four years of study. In 1929 he made his first theatrical appearance with the Cybele troupe and two years later he was invited as a founding member of the Royal Theatre, where he served as a key figure and as one of its leading actors. From this position he excelled as a comedian, especially in works by Molière and Shakespeare, but also in characteristic Greek folklore roles in Greek works.
