She is the daughter of actor and advertising executive Nilton Emilio De Micheli (Kiko De Micheli) and Bárbara Bruno, granddaughter of Nicette Bruno and Paulo Goulart, and great-granddaughter of Eleonor Bruno. She uses the stage name Vanessa Goulartt, adding a "t" (Goulart) for numerological reasons.
