Amorteamo
Recife, 1900. Malvina, daughter of a wealthy merchant, falls in love with Gabriel; however, on her wedding day he abandons her at the altar. Disconcerted, she commits suicide and then returns as a dark spirit. However she brings with her all the dead in the city. At first, the residents are happy, but then they discover that the natural course of life should continue to be followed.

Aragão catches Arlinda with Chico. Pregnant, Arlinda lies about the child's true father. Father Joaquim warns Lauro about the investigation the parish is facing.
Ep 2Episode 2
Gabriel sleeps in the cemetery. Isaac asks Gabriel to take Malvina for a walk. Aragão strikes a deal and arranges a marriage for Gabriel. Lena says goodbye to Gabriel.

Lena and Gabriel exchange declarations of love and plan to live together. Gabriel blames himself for Malvina's fate and asks Zé Coveiro for help to revive her. Zefa advises Lena to leave town.

Aragão is arrested. Lena tries to convince Gabriel not to marry Malvina. Lena discovers that Malvina killed her father. Aragão is surprised by a visit from Chico. Aragão asks Arlinda for forgiveness.
Ep 5Episode 5
Dora accuses Chico of betrayal and tries to kill him. Lena and Gabriel return home. Isaac tries to convince his daughter to give up on revenge. Arlinda begs Chico to leave.
