Jean has spent the first 30 years of her life struggling to walk under a diagnosis of spastic diplegia - a form of cerebral palsy. As her symptoms begin to worsen, she begins to lose hope until a new doctor offers a correct diagnosis and treatment that will change her life. A small blemish on Harreson's nose leads to emotional and physically scarring surgery that disfigures his face. He finally receives the correct diagnosis that could have prevented all of his pain and suffering from the beginning.

The real diagnosis, however, leaves Stu in a state of shock at what doctors uncover.
