Dinotopia
Frank Scott, a wealthy American, crashes his plane into the Caribbean. His two teenaged sons, Karl and David, survive, only to find themselves castaways on Dinotopia. Karl and David are constantly at odds, even as they struggle to adjust to life in their strange new world where talking dinosaurs live side by side in an uneasy alliance with humans.

Ep 1Marooned
The two-hour opener begins a month after the plane accident that stranded Frank Scott and his sons, Karl and David, in Dinotopia. As they attempt to adjust to this new land, a renegade group, the Outsiders, discovers a mysterious amulet that allows them to control the Tyrannosaurs and the pteranodons. The rebels intend to capitalize on their good fortune, but Karl and David aim to stop them.

A deranged alchemist named Cortez discovers a potion that restores youth, but it requires the tail spikes from stegosauruses, which he is systematically hunting and killing. While investigating the dinosauricides, Karl and Marion have a run-in with the Outsiders.
Ep 4Contact
Karl discovers a radio in a wrecked ship and manages to get it to work, dreaming of using it as a way to leave Dinotopia. However, no one else agrees with him. Then the radio picks up a distress call from an outside world.
Ep 5The Matriarch
The theft of a dinosaur egg during a special celebration sparks an incident with the Outsiders and Le Sage when it's discovered a dinosaur egg has been switched with that of a T-Rex, which hatches and wreaks havoc at the dinosaur nursery.
Ep 6The Big Fight
Frank arranges a boxing match between David and Alano, one of LeSage's Outsider crew. Meanwhile, Frank and LeSage become friends, and the senate tries to find a way to ban the fight.
