The premiere episode snatches spooky tales from Carnton Mansion in Franklin, Tennessee. It is a Civil War landmark and said to be the most haunted house in the state of Tennessee. We also visit the Thomas House Hotel with its resident ghost girl, Sarah, in Red Boiling Springs. Here witnesses insist it is haunted by her ghost. Then we catch up with the Tennessee Ghost Hunters, as they teach us some of the basics behind hunting ghosts.

As we carry into the second episode sites are shifted to Adams, Tennessee home to the legend of the Bell Witch. The Bell Witch has many documented stories. It is well documented on the Hollywood big screen, even as recently as feature film "An American Haunting." This legend features a story about a man killed by a sinister spirit known as the Bell Witch. This was the first and only death ever recorded to be committed by a spirit. Also featured are the Shiloh battlefield of the Civil War; Falcon Manor and the legendary Octagon house, where a said thirty different Civil War ghosts are alleged to roam.

Few cities in the country have the history and folklore that Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina do. Southern Haunts "Ghosts of the Low Country", takes you on a journey into these low country cities, where the tress are draped with Spanish Moss, and the ghosts stories are everywhere. Some of the stories featured are the Old City Jail in Charleston, where the apparition of female serial killer Lavinia Fisher still roams the halls. You'll also take a trip to the creepy Pirate's House in Savannah, where it is said that many ghosts still gather. Other ghostly stories include legends of Nashville and Gallatin, Tennessee.
