After her mother remarries, high school student Haru Kusaka feels like she no longer has a place to belong. Drawn to Rio Fujiwara, a gay young man she meets at the café where she works, Haru impulsively asks to live at his shared house. With no rooms available, the two begin sharing a room under one condition: Haru must never fall in love with Rio as a man.

Shortly after moving in together, Haru is shocked when a half-asleep Rio suddenly kisses her, leaving her unable to stop thinking about him. Having once fallen for someone she never should have loved, Haru tries to suppress her growing feelings, but things become even more complicated when Rio’s casual lover, Tomonori Iwakura, visits the shared house and boldly kisses Rio right in front of her.

After spending a month living in the share house, Haru finds herself unable to keep the promise she made to Rio—she has fallen in love with him. When she returns home from school, she finds her childhood friend, Kazuya Sakatani, waiting outside the share house. Suspicious of Haru's relationship with Rio, Kazuya is relieved to learn that Rio is gay and leaves after enjoying Haru's homemade omurice. Meanwhile, Rio begins to realize that Haru is becoming someone special to him and decides to introduce her to his uncle, Asuki, bringing the two even closer together.

Haru attends the opening party for Rio’s newly inherited café and finds herself captivated by the confident way he carries himself as its owner. On the way home, she cherishes the simple conversation they share, reflecting on the feelings growing inside her. When Rio unexpectedly kisses her goodbye, Haru falls asleep that night filled with happiness—unaware that their relationship is about to face an unexpected challenge.
Ep 6Episode 6
After being confronted by Kazuya about Haru, Rio leaves the share house and begins staying with Iwakura. Days pass without any word from him, leaving Haru increasingly worried. When she finally calls Rio’s phone, Iwakura answers and asks her to bring some clothes. But upon arriving, Haru is devastated to find Rio and Iwakura embracing in bed. Heartbroken, she runs away, only to receive an unexpected phone call from Kazuya that changes everything.
