All his life, Paul (Paul Gosselin) wanted to be an actor on the daytime drama, Guiding Light, but after CBS canceled the series following a 72-year run, Paul thought it was high time to pack up his life in New York City and move to Los Angeles. While in the City of Angels, home to the now four remaining US soap operas, Paul seeks out wisdom and inspiration in navigating this disappearing industry from the one person he believes has all of the answers, Susan Lucci, aka "Big Sue."

Ep 1The Best Friend
With Guiding Light canceled, Paul left New York City and moved to Los Angeles. Searching for inspiration, he found his way to the one person who understands his passion for the soap opera genre, Big Sue.
Ep 2The Casting Director
Once upon a time, Paul was straight. He had a relationship with a beautiful, exotic woman named Breeze, who now turns out is a casting director for a soap opera in Los Angeles. Only problem is, Paul never told Breeze he's gay. Can Paul continue to play the part of straight guy to land a role on a daytime drama?
Ep 3The Writer
Paul finds himself figuring out life once again after his awkward re-connection with Breeze, This time, he's planning on wowing a writer from The Bold and the Beautiful by sharing his Guiding Light stories live on stage. Things don't turn out quite how Paul anticipated, and he finds himself at a bar, alone, in another situation that doesn't seem to go the way he anticipated.
Ep 4The Actresses
Paul shares with Big Sue a recent story about what happened during a ride-share experience. Paul's life in starting to spiral downward as there are very few places to turn and he's realizing it day by day.
Ep 5The Diva
On his way out to visit Big Sue, Paul and Stephanie have a conversation in the kitchen about dreams. Stephanie attempts to cheer Paul up by giving him one of her "all natural/minus the pills" smoothies which sends Paul into a crazy dream sequence that Big Sue must have also inspired.
