Lakas belongs to the desert tribe in the Sansinukob. Despite being the poorest among the five indigenous tribes, the desert dwellers thrive in combat, raising their children to become powerful warriors. However, Lakas struggles to fit in because his father, Agos, is deemed by their fellowmen as a traitor. Seeking redemption for his father, Lakas resolves to become a great warrior of his tribe. Meanwhile, Agos learns the shocking truth behind the real traitor among the desert dwellers.

Learn the history of the people of the Taga-Disyerto and how it changed the life of Lakas, a warrior from the region. Lakas vows not to use his superior fighting skills for Dakim’s greed. Tragedy strikes when warriors from Taga-Kalakal tries to raid Taga-Disyerto. Lakas undertakes a brave move and warns people to "RUN!", but leads them the wrong way. The warriors of Taga-Disyerto take charge and fights the other region, but only to come across nothing because they went the opposite way. During his expedition, Lakas meets Ganda, a high-born from the land of the farmers.
