After the death of her foster parent Mama Reg (Regine Velasquez), Chona (Jodi Sta. Maria) takes on the challenges of raising her son alone. However, the universe seemingly conspires against her when a fire destroys their entire house. With only a makeup brush left, Chona and her son are forced to look for a new home.

Chona and Red (Yñigo Delen) move in with the drag mumshies. Everything seems to fall into place as Chona finds solace in BG (Zanjoe Marudo), the bar electrician. However, the universe seems to be playing tricks on her when her old flame, Chester (Ian Veneracion), returns to her life.

Now that she finally reveals the truth, Chona is left with no choice but to introduce Red to Chester's family. Not keen on the idea, Chona comes up with ridiculous excuses, stalling Chester's plan of meeting their son.

Chona notices the bruise on Red's forehead, making her doubt Chester's capacity as a father and hinders him from visiting their son. This does not sit well with Auntie Patty (Carla Martinez), prompting her to do whatever it takes to get her grandson back.
