By order of Emperor Jade in Heaven, Rain God pours-torrential rains on earth, causing heavy flooding and casualties. He privately stops them out of compassion and is punished as a result. With the four Fairies and others begging mercy for him, he is acquitted of expulsion from the Void and is expelled down to earth to taste the suffering of mankind. On earth, the Emperor has a dream which the Grand Master interprets to mean that someone to be born on 23rd August will spring up to seize his throne.
