The life stories of four firefighters show that, through their daily work, they have not only witnessed various spectrums of Taiwan’s society but also been forced to face their own life lessons.
Chih-Yuan CHANG goes to the stream to rescue a drowning man. Later, he accidentally sees his elementary school teacher. Han-Cheng CHIU, who loves his job, is in a hard place because his wife asks him to change his job. Tzu-Ling HSU goes on an ambulance mission to help an old woman in the terminal stage of cancer, but the other party begs HSU to drive the ambulance to the seaside of her childhood. This is her last wish in life. The law-abiding HSU hesitates because it is in violation of regulations.
