As her marriage to Marcos comes to an end, 37-year-old Malena Carregal confronts a vastly different reality — jobless and facing an uncertain future after 15 years of building up the events agency which is now in Marcos' hands. But in this moment of crisis, Malena meets Cali, an intriguing and ambitious woman who breathes new energy into Malena's life.
The wedding ends on a high note after Cali de-escalates a clash between the bride and her father; Malena, Andy and Cali are on a high note after another successful event, but a plumbing emergency forces them to change offices in a hurry. Later, Malena finds out that she will be competing against Marcos for a potential project. Also, Cali receives some bad news from her husband.
