In the present a team of four anthropomorphic dinosaurs, created by aliens, must stop three anthropomorphic velociraptors who want to cause a cataclysm that would speed up global warming and make Earth's climate pleasant for dinosaurs again.
Now that they know they're the world's last surviving dinosaurs, the Extreme Dinosaurs get acquainted with everything the 20th century has to offer: the Home Shopping channel, and spicy Mexican food! Meanwhile the Raptors discover oil, and realize they can burn it to heat things up all over the globe - leading to a climactic battle with the Extreme Ones, where the Dinosaurs must stop the Raptors from igniting the oil deposits beneath Los Angeles' La Brea Tar Pits.
