The arrival of Elif Türkkan, a young high school teacher passionately devoted to her profession, marks a turning point in the lives of everyone living in this small town. Here, she meets Zeynep, a young girl in the prime of her life, and takes her under her wing. Thus, Elif embarks on a one-man battle against Volkan, the heir to the powerful Baykara family whom Zeynep is being forced to marry, and against this family that has cast a dark shadow over Sarpça. Over time, Elif realizes that someone else is also trying to change the town's unfortunate fate. Elif overheard Ekrem Baykara's offer to his brother at Emir's house. The agreement stipulated that Ekrem would convince Volkan to divorce and become a partner with Emir. Macide began changing Zeynep's appearance upon her return home. Macide's attitude towards Zeynep further angered Volkan. Living in the same house became even more difficult for Gülendam and Esma. Ekrem started treating Volkan well and told him he wanted him to take over the business, which surprised Volkan. Meanwhile, Zeynep's friends convinced her to participate in the competition and they all started studying math together. During a conversation with Elif, Emir revealed that someone close to him had told them Zeynep's whereabouts.
