Chef Gordon Ramsay hits the road to help struggling restaurants all over the United States turn their luck around. Ramsay examines the problems each establishment faces, from unsanitary refrigerators to lazy or inexperienced staff, and searches for resolutions. With help from his team, Ramsay redecorates each eatery to give it a fresh new look and updates the menu as needed. Kitchen Nightmares returns as Chef Gordon Ramsay takes on struggling restaurants across the Midwest, where small-town businesses face big problems. Gordon's first stop is Freddy's Steak House, where an owner buried in debt after twenty years is caught between a manager and head chef locked in a bitter power struggle. To save the restaurant, Gordon must get them to stop pointing fingers and start working together.
