VR Man is the alter ego of computer engineer Alex Foo. After a nearly fatal accident, Alex discovers that he has acquired superhuman powers - virtual reality projection. The bio-genetic engineer Click Click Man gave Alex his powers via an experimental procedure that killed all of its previous test subjects, but the project is shut down when he is unable to prove that one of his subjects survived.

VR Man learns to use his powers wisely and foils a bank heist. Meanwhile, Kristal runs a story on VR Man which attracts the attention of Click Click Man’s employer, Bossman.
