Three colleagues at a confectionery company struggle to break free from financial hardship. When they turn to cryptocurrency as a possible solution, their lives are shaken by risk, reward, and unexpected change. Alongside a successful but unfulfilled big data director, they face risk, ambition, and the search for meaning in an uncertain world.
At the year's end comes Marron Confectionery's inevitable employee evaluations. Third-year non-regular employees Jung Da-hae, Kang Eun-sang, and Kim Ji-song are no exception. As the results bring joy for some and disappointment for others, Eun-sang is oddly cheerful, even humming to herself. Meanwhile, with Da-hae's birthday approaching, her boyfriend Byeong-jun suddenly goes missing, plunging her into extreme anxiety.
