Together, they reopen an unresolved child kidnapping case, uncovering hidden truths and confronting the shadows of the past.

Shanghai, 1930s: College student Xiang Man is found dead in her dorm. Detective Guan Cen and forensic doctor Ding Eryi investigate, questioning roommate Lu Yizhen and Xiang Man’s boyfriend Zhang Zhiqiang. Clues lead to Professor Fan Kunyi, revealing a shocking connection to the victim.
