Carolina is married to a man who commits fraud and blames her, so she runs away from home with her son. The only solution Carolina can think of at that moment is to go see her twin sister, Celeste, who is a nun. The only option she gives her is for them to exchange places and Carolina to go to the place where she will be sent. This is how she ends up in the town of Monteverde, a place where there are only men thanks to Óscar León, who, after his wife left him, is very resentful of women and refuses to give them jobs. There, Father Gabriel and Sister Celeste recruit a group of women to live there and change the dynamics of the town.
Talking to Néstor, Rosalía discovers that 25 years ago he and Oscar went to Aguascalientes to sell some horses, which convinces her that she could be the daughter of one of them. Lucía tells Franco that she had many plans for the future, however, everything fell apart when Rodrigo, her fiancé, abandoned her on her wedding day, causing her great suffering and forcing her to forget everything in Monteverde. Upon discovering that Don Manuel is rich, Gloria is convinced that he is the best candidate for her daughter, Angelina. Rosalía takes some toothbrushes from Oscar's house to have them analyzed and prove whether Oscar is her real father.
