The telenovela follows the story of Aitana (González), a woman who appears tough because she was raped as a young woman by the Lizárraga brothers, against whom she swears revenge. Life surprises her when she falls in love with Luciano (Chocarro), the eldest of the Lizárraga brothers.
Zacarías confronts Mateo for questioning everyone but him about his relationship with Adriana 20 years ago. Aitana confesses to her friend that, despite all the hatred she feels for Luciano, she can't shake the feelings she's developing for him. Iñigo becomes furious when he discovers that Nuria is taking birth control pills, as he needs to have a child who can inherit the Lizárraga family fortune. Seeing so many obstacles that Luciano creates for the wedding, Larisa begins to suspect that he doesn't really want to marry her.
