Description

When the city goes dark - literally - newly divorced Andres is faced with painful choices: whether to give his children the chance to see their mother in another city, or to keep them away from a world that is falling apart by the hour.

Episode 6Empty house

Andres searches a nearby village, finding it looted and dangerous. An old woman warns him of approaching threats and helps him hide from armed men. Back home, Adeele and Jako fend off an intruder by scaring him away until Andres returns. As conditions worsen, Andres sets traps and struggles to survive harsh winter conditions, even falling through ice while fishing. Paramilitary men later arrive; some are caught in the traps, but they offer food after Adeele apologizes. Andres falls gravely ill, and the family is eventually rescued. As they leave, their home is abandoned, and the surrounding world continues to collapse.
