Description

"Nancy Drew" joins the NKVD in 1940 on the eve of the Nazi invasion of Russia. She is posted to a small town with large adjoining forest and spends her time investigating smugglers and spies who work against the Soviet state.

Galina realizes that the wounded bandit is her son, Ilya, who managed to escape. She hopes to find and save her son. Liza, who has given birth to a girl, tells Galina everything she knows. An NKVD major arrives in town. There is intelligence that sabotage is being planned in the area. Therefore, the order is to abandon the search for the gang and concentrate all efforts on checking their documents...
