St. Petersburg, 19th century. Prince Myshkin, a naive and fundamentally good man, returns from Switzerland. By chance, he finds himself drawn into a marriage scheme involving Nastassya Filippovna. Beautiful, flighty, and mercenary, the young woman turns heads all over the city.
