The New Adventures of Chor Lau-heung is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Chu Liuxiang Xinzhuan of Gu Long's Chu Liuxiang novel series. Michael Miu starred as the titular protagonist, Chor Lau-heung. The series was first broadcast on TVB from 12 November 1984 to 4 January 1985. It was rerun in Hong Kong on TVB Jade from February 1 to March 30 in 2006.
CHOR, after he has crushed many devilish organizations and eliminated a lot of baddies, keeps himself far away from the hustling and bustling mainland to lead a peaceful hiberated life with three beautiful ladies, YEE, HUNG and YING. Yet, the absence of challenge and stimulation make CHOR get tired of the prosaic quiet life. When it comes to GOI's birthday, CHOR most eagerly pays his good friend a visit. Accompanied by the three ladies, CHOR starts off to the mainland. On their way to GOI's, they meet a beautiful girl, CHING, who has great importance to the development of the plot later on. When they arrive at GOI's house, they find GOI is greatly depressed by his only daughter who is suffering from a strange illness, and also the days of his decisive engagement with SIT are numbered.
