Morimura Aiko is a junior high school student who is short for her age. Her father went on a yacht ten years ago and his whereabouts remained in obscurity. Her mother, a designer for hats, left for Paris, leaving Aiko in the care of her uncle, Mr Fujinami. Aiko had a pet dog, Papi, but it died in a car accident. Around the same time, another dog, Spank, appears before her. Having gone through so many unfortunate events in her life, Spank's presence begins to brighten up Aiko's life and put a smile on her face.
Aiko, who started living at her uncle's house, can make friends with Ryo-kun and a good classmate while doing so on Span's failure. One day, Rei Ikegami, the younger brother of the Spunk's owner, came to pick up the spunk. Spank, who was taken to Tokyo, spends his days being helpless. One day, a package arrives from Aiko. It was a backpack that was forgotten by Spank. Because of that, Spank's feelings for Aiko have increased and decided to leave home. I'm going back to Aiko. I wonder if Spank will be able to get on the train, hitchhiking, and meet Aiko again...
