Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.
Feng and Yuen finally got married and the day of their wedding banquet, there was a gangster gathering held in the same restaurant by chance. Night club mamasan Mon and her boss Dung were discussing business there but ended up in a fight. Ngo was transferred to head a EU team. Her subordinate Wing had bias towards women and hated to be under Ngo. One day, when Ngo and her team were undertaking routine road block checking, they discovered a much wanted criminal, Sing, and started a gun fight. Sing managed to escaped. Sheng remembered that he had once fought against Sing and knew he was an excellent sniper. Dung was furious that Mon opened a similar night club. Not only did she attract all the club girls, but also many of his customers. He sent his man Dee to kill Mon during the opening ceremony of her night club. However, Sing suddenly appeared and shot Jenny, the girl standing next to Mon and led to a confusion.… ...
