Although Tai Jin-sek has a canine partner, Rocky, he does not get along with his neighbour, Man Wing-long, who is a dog-loving veterinarian. When Wing-long's dog goes missing, she is quick to accuse Jin-sek of being the cause. The dynamics between the two neighbours change when Wing-long's friend, Au Ji-san, moves in with Wing-long and Jin-sek quickly falls in love with her. To complicate things further, Wing-long is also fielding a love interest at work, from a fellow veterinarian, Man Hok-yan.
YAN is entangled by his client, MAY but LONG is mistaken by her as being jealous. In the clinic, YAN insistently refuses MAY and LONG tells YAN no longer brings his personal affairs to the office. Seeing LONG putting on a solemn look, YAN teases at her again and LONG is angry. HONG, SHEK'S ex-supervisor, intends to have SHEK and his daughter, MAN, engaged and SHEK knows nothing about it. Observing YAN'S consultation, LONG thinks YAN is only focusing on making money and not caring for the life and death of the animals. YAN feels bad without saying a word. Knowing SHAN'S family is going to visit SHAN, LONG tells SHAN to be ready for it. SHAN begs WAH and SHEK to help her go through this predicament. SHAN takes courage to speak out her intention to separate with WING but is tongue-tied and fails. In the police station, NAM, SHEK'S best friend, knows much about MAN and decides to chase after her.… ...
