Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a 2009 animated television series joint produced by the Beijing Huihuang Animation Company of China and Future Planet of Japan. It was broadcast in Japan starting April 2010.
Lü Bu takes advantage of Dong Zhuo's visit to the court to spy on Miao Cicada, and invites her to meet him at Feng Yi Pavilion. It so happened that Dong Zhuo returned to his house and saw this situation, and grabbed his halberd to execute Lu Bu, who fled. The two of them were suspicious of each other from then on. Wang Yun said that Dong Zhuo should not have taken over Miao Cicada, and Lu Bu and Wang Yun planned to get rid of Dong Zhuo together, and on the day when Dong Zhuo was ready to usurp the throne, Lu suddenly turned against him and killed him.
