Country Spirit aka Plain Love III was a television drama series produced by TVB. The series takes place in a winery in China in around 1900-1930. Winemaking, as well as the trials and tribulations of a touching love story between a widow, who is part of a ghost marriage, and her husband's house servant, are the main theme of this series.
FANG devises to win in the competition. HUAN intends not to give her the cash prize. FANG threatens to destroy the wine yeast. LUNG has no alternative but to give her the cash prize. HUAN is mad. LUNG dos not know whether his son, SAN, could return home in time to get married. LUNG blames HUAN who promised the marriage without his consent. LUNG finds it difficult to explain the case to the bride’s family. FANG loses her cash prize and got no money to redeem her jade. HUAN deliberately buys her jade. KOU’s “cinnamon fragrance” is ready. All are glad. Unexpectedly, LUNG comments that the wine is not good after wine-tasting. KOU does not agree. LAI and FANG’s good friend, YEE follow HUAN’s instruction to work for her. However, HUAN is still reluctant to hand over the jade. SHUNG devises to make HUAN give up the jade. When SHUNG is going to give back the jade to FANG, he breaks it. FANG is mad.
